A select group of business, community and civic leaders will be chosen from across the state to volunteer valuable time, energy and expertise to establish the standard for companies to meet and exceed for future Work-Life awards. The Department of Human Services, Arkansas State University and Arkansas Business Publishing Group acknowledge their contributions and dedication to making the first Arkansas Governor's Awards a coveted designation for progressive companies that have established and provided resources that support employees in balancing the needs of both work and family.

Note: Judges will not be selected from nominated companies. Arkansas State University and its branches and Arkansas Business Publishing Group are not eligible to compete. As lead sponsor and coordinator, the Early Childhood Division will not be eligible for consideration. Other divisions of the Department of Human Services and other state agencies are eligible.
